RC Car Drifting Video + HDR Pictures

Took some videos and pictures today. The video is just to test compositions. The last section of the video looks best according to me, but I need to find a way to drift out of the screen quicker I guess. Well..here are the pictures.

And the video with some test compositions.

BMW again with my new camera (Canon EOS 600D)

I took some more HDR pictures of the BMW of my friend. I actually went there to take some test videos, but I also took some pictures. Maybe I will also post the video(s), but I’m not sure yet. It was really just to test.

Here’s an extreme HDR picture and the 3 pictures I used to make it.

Another extreme HDR picture, but this time I made everything black/white except for the car, which I made even brighter red.

For this one I just used one picture.

Update : I decided to include a video also. Make sure you watch it in full HD.

Making tutorials soon

Hi all,

it’s a little while ago that I posted anything here, but that will change soon! I am planning on making drawing tutorials in which I actually talk and explain what I do, so people can learn from it. I want to make a tutorial on elipses in perspective, drawing rims (which are ofcourse also elipses), because I find that many people can draw cars but kind of ‘screw up’ the rims, while they are like the easiest part of the whole drawing, or at least they can be.. Then maybe I will make a tutorial on how to draw cars, but I’m not sure if I will do that, since I don’t even know what I do or how the perspective works in my own drawings. I think it’s good for me to find that out first.

So come back soon for my tutorials!

19-07-2011 Car drawing video(‘s)

I have been busy drawing cars lately again. I designed this one in my breaks at work and finally made a final of it at home and I filmed it. I only uploaded the drawing video so far, but the colouring video will be up tomorrow, because I will upload it the coming night (ADSL stops all the internet downloading speed when I upload to youtube)

Huge moth in our garden.

Yesterday my family was here and we were sitting in the garden and at once our eye fell on a huge moth on the fence between our and our neighbours garden. I took pictures of it and I didn´t touch it, because I didn´t want to kill him or destroy the wings. But today in the morning I found him laying on the ground! And I noticed he had spiderwebs in his paws. So I picked him up anyway and put him on a rock with the wings fully spread.
